Mat classes are offered in studio and livestreamed. Up to 8 students can take a mat class in the studio and spaces must be reserved.
Reformer and Tower group classes are offered in studio only. Up to 3 students can take a class in the studio and spaces must be reserved.
WORKSHOPS
Magic Mat Series: Yoga & Pilates
Improve your posture, balance, strength, and mobility with mindful movements inspired by both yoga and Pilates. With over 40 years of combined teaching experience, Carol and Maria are thrilled to share their expertise and the transformative benefits of these practices with you. This workshop is taught my Maria Losito and Carol Shwidock.
Fridays at 8AM Dates: October 4, 11, 18, 25 Cost: $160.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Our apparatus classes are limited to three students per class, providing individual attention to every student within the dynamics of a group. Students must have recent apparatus experience or take our 3-pack private intro sessions to be able to participate.
Reformer 1 Ideal for beginners and those who want a safe and effective class experience to build a solid Pilates foundation. Focus on form and alignment so that you can get the most out of your workout as you become more advanced. This class is ideal for all fitness abilities, is easily modified for those with physical limitations, and focuses on overall body awareness.
Reformer 2 In this class, you will start exploring more precise and dynamic exercises. Class tempo is moderate and focuses on a steady class flow. Intermediate exercises and coordinated movements are introduced, along with progressions and balance and stability challenges to give you a more demanding workout. This class will fully challenge the body and mind.
Reformer Mixed Looking for a class that is a little more challenging than Reformer 1, but not quite as advanced as Reformer 2? Then Reformer Mixed is the class for you. Reformer Mixed is a fun and moderate level class designed to progress your practice as you work on strength, coordination, and balance.
Mixed Apparatus A complete 50 minute workout that will strengthen and lengthen your entire body. This class fuses the athleticism of contemporary Pilates with the refinement, technique, and structure of classical Pilates. Class will be taught using a combination of the reformer, springboard and various props. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Lunch Break Reformer This 45 minute lunchtime class to get your body moving and do something good in your lunch break. A Reformer class that will leave you feeling strong, mobile and ready for the rest of your day.
Jumpboard Reformer The jumpboard is a low impact, joint friendly cardio workout. The focus of this class is; muscle length and endurance, core strengthening and stabilization, sculpting and shaping legs, glutes and arms, and foot/ankle strength. This class is for clients who are experienced on a reformer. This class is not suitable for pregnant clients.
Mat Classes
Pilates Mat Class In Studio & Livestream This 50 minute class incorporates bands, balls and light weights to challenge stability and to increase muscle recruitment with exercises that will tone, strengthen, and elongate muscles. Monday class is Classical Pilates Mat.
Stretch, Limber & Lengthen Press the release button on tight muscles in this invigorating stretch class. This gentle class will improve flexibility, reduce muscle tension, enhance posture, increase circulation and promote overall wellbeing. This class accommodates all fitness levels.
Classical Pilates Mat This class is a sequence of core focused mat exercises developed by Joseph Pilates to build strength, flexibility and body control. These exercises emphasize breath, control, and alignment, and the integration of the entire body with a special focus on strengthening the core muscles. This class is a mixed level class. Knowledge of basic fundamentals is recommended.
